Housemaid Service Agreement – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the agreement between the customer (“First Party”) and Maid Service Nepal (“Second Party”). By booking our housemaid service, the customer agrees to the following conditions.
1. Liability
Maid Service Nepal acts as a service provider by supplying domestic workers. While we carefully screen and verify our maids, we are not liable for any loss, theft, damage, or missing belongings that may occur at the client’s residence during or after the service period. Clients are encouraged to take reasonable precautions to safeguard valuable items.
2. Worker Conduct & Replacement
We are committed to maintaining a respectful working environment for both clients and maids. If a maid resigns or leaves due to inappropriate behavior, harassment, abuse, or unsafe working conditions at the client’s home, the company reserves the right to decline an immediate replacement.
3. Salary Payment
The client is responsible for paying the maid’s agreed monthly salary directly to the worker at the end of each completed working month. Salary payments should be made on time without unnecessary delay.
4. Booking & Reservation (Rs. 2,000 Plan)
- A non-refundable booking and reservation fee of Rs. 2,000 is required to confirm a maid request.
- The reservation remains valid for up to two (2) months from the booking date.
- If the booking expires without placement or if additional service is requested after the validity period, a new booking fee will be required.
5. Trial & Replacement Policy
- A one-week trial period is provided so the client can evaluate the maid’s performance.
- At the end of the trial, the client should confirm whether they wish to continue with the assigned maid.
- If the client is not satisfied, payment must be made for the actual days worked.
- After settlement, the company will arrange a replacement.
- Under the standard booking plan, a maximum of two (2) replacements may be provided within one month, subject to availability.
6. Verification Documents
For safety and identification purposes, clients may request copies of the maid’s available identification documents, such as citizenship, emergency contact information, and other necessary verification details in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
7. Annual Booking Package (Rs. 12,000)
- The Rs. 12,000 Annual Booking Package is a non-refundable service fee.
- The package remains valid for 12 months from the date of registration.
- Upon expiry, renewal requires payment of the applicable annual booking fee.
8. Replacement Coverage (Annual Package)
Clients enrolled in the annual package receive additional replacement support.
- If the assigned maid leaves during the contract period for eligible reasons, the company will provide up to five (5) replacements within the 12-month validity period, subject to availability and policy terms.
9. Uniform & Identification
To ensure professionalism and easy identification, the company provides each assigned maid with an official company T-shirt and identification (ID) card.
10. Leave & Temporary Replacement
- Maids are entitled to up to two (2) leave days per month.
- Where possible, the company will arrange a temporary replacement upon request.
- Clients should notify the company at least 24 hours in advance if temporary replacement assistance is required.
11. Legal Responsibility
Maid Service Nepal serves as a placement and support agency. The company is not responsible for legal disputes that may arise between the client and the maid during or after the service period. However, the company will cooperate with the relevant authorities and provide reasonable assistance if requested during any official investigation.

By confirming a booking or using our services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Maid Service Nepal reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
